Quick Search Tips:

To search the web for a word or phrase: enter the word(s) into the Search window, select a search engine, and click Search.  This will produce a listing of websites that contain one or more of the words you entered.

To search for an exact word or phrase: place quotes around the word(s).  This will produce a listing of websites which contain the exact string you entered.

To search for two or more unrelated words on the same page: precede each word or phrase with a plus sign (e.g., +apples +"pumpkin patch").  This will produce a listing of websites which contain all the words or phrases you entered.

To filter out a word(s) from your search: precede it with a minus sign (e.g., computer -"laptop computer").  This will produce a listing of websites that contain the word(s) you want, but not the word(s) you filtered out with a minus sign.
